Helps Minimize Labor Pains.
- An evaluation of 8,058 mothers over eight years confirmed essential oils’ ability to minimize labor pains, finding that the use of pethidine (a synthetic opioid pain medication more commonly known as Demerol) decreased from 6% to .2% of the women.

Can Safely Shorten Labor.
- In 2003, Korean researchers set out to determine if certain synergies exist among the oils that have traditionally been found helpful for pregnancy. They discovered that certain essential oil blends had a profound effect at shortening the first stage of labor.

Less infants in NICU.
- Studies have shown that the number of infants hospitalized in the NICU is lower for women enjoying aromatherapy during labor, which further supports that using essential oils during labor is safe and effective.

- Other studies have found that lavender and other essential oils can relieve pain, redness, and need for topical pain relief after a natural tear or an episiotomy when used in a sitz bath or cleansing spray.

About Me
If you are an expecting mother and reading this CONGRATULATIONS! I’m happy that you are thinking about adding a doula to your birth team! Serving women has been a calling of mine since I was young. I am a Certified Birth Doula, Certified Aromatherapist, and Herbalist and my practice is based in Newport Beach,Ca. I believe that Nature is our first teacher and giving birth is a beautiful, NATURAL occurrence.
Whether you’re having your baby un medicated or having a Cesarean Section, a birth is a birth. I am here to inform you, empower you, and facilitate the birthing experience you deserve. I commit myself mentally, physically, and emotionally to every expecting mother I connect with. I believe with more information given to women they are better able to prepare themselves when it comes to labor + delivery. Making labor and delivery less of a “scary” event.
As a Certified Aromatherapist I specialize in formulating Essential Oil Synergies that helps support you throughout Pregnancy, Labor+Delivery, and Postpartum. I believe in natural therapies aimed at promoting and maintaining good health and well-being. The use of essential oils have been scientifically proven to support mom (and moms to be) throughout all stages of pregnancy and postpartum.
In between clients I am a member of a several Community Doula Foundations that provides free Doula services for Black Women, victims of Domestic Violence, victims of Sex Trafficking, and Low Income women throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. When not living the Doula life, I enjoy spending time with my doghter Venus <3, my family, tending to my medicinal herb garden, and hand making herbal tinctures/teas for my shop.
